I have had what the Weight Watchers' folks call a "non-scale victory." It's not my first, but it is my most noteworthy so far. Up til now, they've mainly been willpower-related things, but tonight, I've had a concrete example of my success.

Tim and I are going out to see a late night showing of "Bewitched." I had to change into some jeans, and I found that the ones I've been wearing that were only slightly too big are now way too big. Turns out I've gone down two sizes! Well, okay, a size and a half, really, since the ones I were wearing were slightly too big, and the ones I'm wearing right now are comfortably snug (not tight, just snug).

I totally needed a pick-me-up today, and that was it. :D

That's awesome. I've been feeling kind of down because I've yet to experience anything like that. I'm losing weight, but my body feels roughly the same as always.

I remember how it felt the last time I lost weight and clothing started fitting differently....in your place I'd be tempted to start pulling everything out of the closet to see how it felt now.
